The Sacred, the Secular, and the Profane in Design

Considering “the secular” as being equivalent to everyday life, we stress the importance of beauty constructed out of “very ordinary things.” Beauty exists in ordinary everyday life, so United Design attempts to create a beauty that shines in “secular design” and which fits into daily life, in contrast with “sacred design,” which is something extraordinary. In addition, we revive already universally completed designs and complete them with new interpretations, a process we think of as “profane design.”
